ADMISSION PROCESS

Thank you for considering Mater Salvatoris School for the education of your child. Mater Salvatoris School is co-ed in Preschool and Kindergarten and follows a model of single-sex classrooms on a co-ed campus from First Grade through High School. For September 2024, we will be enrolling girls from PreK3 through Freshman Year, and boys from PreK3 through Seventh Grade.

We invite you to visit us and learn more about Mater Salvatoris School and method. Our admission process begins when you schedule a school tour. Next, you may fill out our online application form and schedule a parent interview.  A visit by the student and a screening is the final step in the admission process.

    If you want to apply, please go to Online Application Form to complete our online application. You will receive a confirmation email from the Admissions Office when your application has been successfully submitted.

    Once you fill out the application form, you will receive a link to schedule a Parent Interview. Scheduling a Parent Interview is an essential step in the application process, when we have the opportunity to explain more about the Mater Salvatoris School philosophy, mission and method. During the conversation we would like to learn as well about your goals and aspirations for your child(ren)’s education, and to answer any questions you might have. 

    • PreK-3: Parents Interview with the future student (the applicant has to come for a visit during the Parents Interview.)
    • PreK-4 through Fifth Grade:  Parents Interview (only for the couple.)
    • Middle School (Sixth through Eighth Grade):  Parents Interview (only for the couple.)
    • Freshman Year: Parents and Student Interview. 

     

    Once you fill out the application form you will also receive a link to schedule a screening and a student visit. 

    Mater Salvatoris School provides a student-centered learning environment. The purpose of this Screening & Student Visit for PreK through Fifth Grade is to meet the student in a welcoming and comfortable environment, to help us understand the child’s maturity and development stage. This way, we can attend to the specific needs of each of our students from the beginning of the school year. 

    • PreK-3: the future student is required to be fully potty trained in order for him/her to come to school in September 2024.
    • PreK-4 through Fifth Grade:  Screening and a tour for the applicant.
    • Middle School (Sixth through Eighth Grade):  Student Visit, Interview and Screening for the applicant (on the same day.)
    • Freshman Year: Student Visit (Fridays from 7:50 am until 12:15 pm), Entrance Exam (date and time will be notified by the Admissions Office.)

    The entire curriculum and student life at Mater Salvatoris College Prep School are permeated with Roman Catholic teachings, traditions, philosophy and mission. Parents who are not Catholic may enroll their children with the explicit understanding that all students must participate in Religion and Theology classes, as well as all religious liturgies and activities in the school and in the church.

    Mater Salvatoris School does not have programs that address the needs of special education students.
