Welcome to Mater Salvatoris College Prep School in Stamford, CT, the seventh of the Mater Salvatoris Schools that the Sisters of the Company of the Savior have founded around the world.
Mater Salvatoris College Prep School -a Prek-3 through Grade 12 project-, opened in 2018, beginning with the lower grades, with the purpose to expand by one grade level each year up to Grade 12.
With great joy, we announce an agreement with the Diocese of Bridgeport which allows us to move to a Permanent Campus, to the former Trinity Catholic High School building, and to expand enrollment and grades by September 2021. We are deeply grateful to the Diocese and the ongoing support of Bishop Frank Caggiano to make this possible.
With 20 acres of property and more than 125,000 square feet of building space, the site of the former Trinity Catholic High School meets all the needs to develop the Mater Salvatoris project — including classrooms and labs, a chapel, sports fields gymnasium and playgrounds, and an auditorium. In this way, the mission for which the campus was designed and built — to provide a faithful Catholic education — will continue.
Driven by the need to serve the family as a whole, we will open a boys’ division at Mater Salvatoris School in Stamford. Boys and girls develop differently; in order to meet their individual needs, we propose a model of a single-sex classroom in a co-ed campus, starting in First Grade, as soon as enrollment allows it.
We continue this project with passion and deep enthusiasm, supported by our over 60 years of experience in educational excellence in Europe, North America, South America and Africa, offering a faithful Catholic education, student-centered learning environment, strong academic formation and experiential and active education.
To reach this goal, we educate the mind, we educate the heart, we educate the spirit.
Our objective of a well-rounded education of the whole person begins in the early years. The early ages is THE time to establish a solid foundation for learning and the development of the whole person. Mater Salvatoris Schools accompany each of our students in the different stages of their education, from their early years until their admission to college, seeking to nurture in each of them the entire development of their personalities: individually, socially and transcendentally.
Acknowledging that parents are the first and foremost educators of their children, and that the family is the primary but not the only and exclusive educating community, Mater Salvatoris School promotes an educational alliance between the families and the school, to collaborate with the parents’ exciting mission of the education of their children, so they become the saints God is calling them to be.
I encourage you to explore our website, read about who we are and the mission of our schools, schedule a meeting to visit us and learn more about our school in Stamford.
We ask you for your prayers for this new mission that our Lord is entrusting to us, through the intercession of our Blessed Mother, Mother of the Savior.
May God bless you and your families,
M. Maria Alguacil, C.S.
