Mater Salvatoris College Preparatory School in Stamford is an independent, faithful Catholic school, Pre-K3 through Grade 12, under the direction of the Sisters of the Company of the Savior.
In partnership with the Disciples of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, we offer single-sex education on a co-ed campus. In conjunction with lay faculty, the Priests coordinate our Boys Division, and the Sisters coordinate our Girls Division. From 1st Grade onward, students learn in single-sex classrooms while sharing common spaces and social experiences.
The mission of Mater Salvatoris School is to provide a faithful Catholic education to all of our students by accompanying them from their early years through admission to university, leading them to discover their unique talents, and assisting them in successfully meeting the challenges of the twenty-first century.
Our school is located on a beautiful 20-acre campus with newly renovated classrooms, a chapel, auditorium, gymnasium, sports fields, playground, and ample green space that allows direct contact with nature. In this environment, our school promotes the development of the whole person in all his or her dimensions: academic, human and spiritual, in an atmosphere of wise freedom.
This integrated formation is only possible due to the constant dedication and commitment of the Sisters, Priests and faculty who, both in and out of the classroom, foster in the students an awareness of the difficulties in life and awaken in them the desire to build a more just society.
