At Mater Salvatoris School we accompany each student from their early years through adolescence, until their admission to College, supporting each student in the different stages of the growth and maturation process. Each developmental stage prepares and influences the next.
The Preschool years are crucial in our students’ lives, where they build the foundation for further learning, development of behavior, good habits, fine and gross motor development, skills, interests, and strategies for their future.
During this early stage, with the assistance and guidance of the teachers as facilitators, students start to make connections, relate concepts, and develop global thinking. It is a very important moment to assess, take action and reinforce different learning and affective areas that each student may need.

At Mater Salvatoris we are determined to teach children the full meaning of the word “love” as the joyful giving of life. That is why joy is a characteristic and indispensable feature of our school, where every child is valued and seen as an immense gift.
We are dedicated to nurturing the development of our youngest learners, ages 3 to 5, by instilling virtues and fostering a deep connection with the Catholic faith.
We integrate daily routines that emphasize virtues such as respect and obedience, friendships, kindness, and forgiveness, while focusing on self-awareness, self-control, and self-esteem as well. Through interactive activities, children learn to understand their emotions, regulate their behavior, and build confidence, laying a strong moral and emotional foundation for their future.
At Mater Salvatoris we seek and desire that every child will become the saint our Lord is calling them to be. By means of example, doctrine, and prayer, and with God’s help, we form them in their spirit so that they may know themselves as authentic children of the Father in the building up of the civilization of love. Far from seeking self-interest, our desire is that our students walk and work every day for the glory of God.
In Preschool, this translates into a daily effort to have Jesus as their “best friend.” It also means trusting in Our Lady’s help and attention, and following her example of docility and obedience in the smallest things.
To cultivate a personal relationship with Jesus and the Virgin Mary, we engage children with age-appropriate Bible stories, lives of saints, songs and prayers. They make frequent visits to the school chapel, acknowledging that Jesus is present in the Tabernacle and learning how to talk with Him, as they do with their friends. These experiences make faith tangible and accessible, encouraging spiritual growth and a sense of joy from an early age.
