Since 2021, the Disciples of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary (“Disciples”) have collaborated with the Sisters of the Company of the Savior (“Sisters”) at Mater Salvatoris School in Stamford, CT. The Disciples coordinated the Boys Division and served as chaplains for the entire school, celebrating the sacraments and providing spiritual guidance to all our students and their families. Thanks to this collaboration, girls, guided by the Sisters, and boys, guided by the Disciples, gained the opportunity to grow and flourish according to their unique physical, intellectual, and spiritual paths in single-sex classrooms. 

In January 2025, this alliance received its confirmation and consolidation with the signing of the “Two Schools, One Family” agreement. Under this agreement, starting in First Grade through High School, Mater Salvatoris School educates girls, directed by the Sisters, while Stella Maris School educates boys, directed by the Disciples. Together, we share one campus and one mission: authentic, rigorous, and well-rounded Catholic education

The partnership between the Sisters and Disciples lays the concrete foundation necessary for the lasting success of both Religious Institutes’ joint educational initiative in Stamford, CT. Our collaboration extends back to 2015 when, at the request of school families, we partnered with the Disciples to establish a boys school in Madrid, Spain. Mater Salvatoris School and Stella Maris School joined forces in Madrid to create a shared project that serves the family as a whole.

The Disciples of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, in their schools in Madrid and the United States, have developed a solid educational initiative aimed at cultivating the highest potential in their students.
